Sri Lanka Insurance is in a stronger position today as it has Government backing coupled with the private sector service standards gained through its brief exposure as a private sector entity.

Sri Lanka Insurance Managing Director Nalaka Godahewa signed MoUs with premier vehicle agents in the country at Hotel Intercontinental yesterday.

The vehicle agents who have partnered with Sri Lanka Insurance include AMW, Toyota, Carmart, DIMO, Hyundai, Prestige, Senok, Swedish, Car Plan and United Motors.

He said it is with that strength that Sri Lanka Insurance stepped into another innovative service to give better facilities to customers.

He said this partnership with premier vehicle agents is a win-win situation to all parties and Sri Lanka Insurance motor policyholders now have the opportunity to repair and restore the damaged vehicle from the manufacturer’s repair centre with accuracy and maintenance of original quality.

This will bring greater convenience to motor policyholders at a time of vehicle repair.

Godahewa said, the highly personalized service offered to policyholders ensures customer convenience at every customer contact point and they can enjoy unique benefits such as reporting of accidents at the accident site any time, anywhere in Sri Lanka, accurate assessment of damage, settlement of claims within 24 hours and 24 hour free roadside assistance service islandwide without any hassle.”
