Postal voting applications to be received from today

Applications for postal voting for the April 8, Parliamentary election will be accepted from today and end on February 22, Additional Elections Commissioner W. P. Sumanasiri said.

Applications for postal voting should be forwarded to Returning Officers through Department Heads, Sumanasiri said.

The applications for the Colombo District should be forwarded to the Deputy Elections Commissioner at Rajagiriya. Postal voters’ lists will be exhibited at all District Secretariats.

Nominations for the General Election will be accepted from February 19 to 26.
