Moratu Vidyalaya trounce President's College

Moratu Vidyalaya trounced President's College, Rajagiriya by an innings and 111 runs in their inter-school under 19 cricket match played at Moratuwa. The feature of the game was 823 runs were scored during the match.

In reply to visitors score of 130 runs Vidyalians piled up 467 for 9. Sanka Ramesh top scored with 167 runs including twenty two fours and five sixes while Janidu Devinda made 118 with thirteen fours and five sixes. Both of them were associated in a fifth wicket Partnership of 219 runs.

In their second essay visitors gave some resistance and totalled 226 runs with Thilina Madushanka and Lahiru Kamburugamuwa scoring 60 and 65 runs respectively.
