HSBC Economist here

HSBC's Senior Asian Economist for HSBC India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Sri Lanka and Vietnam Robert Prior-Wandesforde, will visit Sri Lanka this week. During his visit Prior-Wandesforde will address the Bank's corporate customers on Global, Asia and Sri Lanka - Prospects for 2010 and Beyond at a special breakfast briefing scheduled to be held tomorrow at the Cinnamon Grand Hotel.

Prior-Wandesforde joined HSBC in 1994, having previously worked as an economist in the UK for three years. Thereafter, he was based in London for 12 years, covering various Continental European economies and becoming HSBC's Chief Euro zone economist.
