The Japan International Cooperation Agency Alumni Association and the Centre for Sustainable Agriculture Research and Development, Rajagiriya has organized a seminar on February 13, Saturday at the Sri Lanka Association for the Advancement of Science at Vidya Mawatha Colombo 7 from 9.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. This seminar is open to the general public, members of the JICA and for those who are interested.

The theme of this seminar is "Problems encountered by the Small Farmers due to water scarcity, the effects of the present changing climatic conditions and solutions.

The speakers are Agricultural Scientist Dr. Lionel Weerakoon and Agricultural Engineer Sarath Fernando.

This seminar will be conducted both in English and in Sinhala and a discussion will follow.
