Independence day celebrations in Anuradhapura

Independence Day celebrations in Anuradhapura will be held tomorrow at the Anuradhapura Public Stadium under the patronage of North Central Province Governor Karunaratna Divulgane.

The ceremony organized by a committee chaired by Anuradhapura District Secretary H. M. K. Herath will include performances by schoolchildren in Anuradhapura.

North Central Province Chief Minister Berty Premalal Dissanayake, Provincial Ministers, principals and others will participate. Religious ceremonies will be held in the morning.
