A father of three, A.M. Sugath Shantha Sumanasekara, 36 of Heiyantuduwa who was riding a motor cycle was knocked down by a cab at Dimo Junction on the Sapugaskanda Samurdhi Mawatha last poya day evening.

This was revealed at the inquest held on his death by the Inquirer into Sudden Deaths, Ragama, Dr. H.P.G.G. de Alwis.

The Inquirer recorded a verdict of accidental death.

The Police were ordered to arrest the cab driver and produce him before the Gampaha Chief Magistrate.

Sapugaskanda police are investigating.
