Essential drugs promptly to hospitals

The Healthcare and Nutrition Ministry has taken steps to supply all essential drugs to Government hospitals throughout the country.

It has been reported that there was a shortage of 39 life-saving drugs in several hospitals. On the advice of Healthcare and Nutrition Minister Nimal Siripala de Silva, the drugs are being distributed to those hospitals, Ministry sources said.
