National Day in Kandy

Arrangements are being made to hold the 62nd Independence Day Celebrations centred around the Sri Dalada Maligawa, Kandy on February 4.

These celebrations will be presided by President Mahinda Rajapaksa and will include military pageants and cultural events.

The rehearsals of the Forces were held in Kandy town yesterday for the preparation of these military guards of honour and processions.
