Massive majority for Waidyatilaka

At the Annual General Meeting of the Sri Lanka Masters Athletics P.H.D. Waidyatilaka was re-elected President with a majority of 51 votes. The other candidate S.N.J. Dias received 27 votes while Waidyatilaka had 78 votes in favour.

There were 13 candidates for 7 posts of Vice President and the following were elected. Dickman Guruge (59 votes), D. Upali Kumarasiri (51), Ananda Athukorala (47), Sumith Dalpathadu (44), T.J. Chandradasa (44), K.M. Karunaratne (43) and A.T. Wijaya (41).
