JRJ’s grandson to support President

Grandson of the late President J R Jayewardene, Pradeep Jayewardene has pledged to support President Mahinda Rajapaksa at the forthcoming Presidential Election.

At a press conference held at his residence at No. 66/03 Ward Place, Colombo 7 on Tuesday, Jayewardene said today there is no democracy in the UNP.

“President Mahinda Rajapaksa defeated terrorism and now peace has dawned in Sri Lanka. I request UNPers to pay their attention to the forthcoming Presidential Election intelligently and give their votes to President Mahinda Rajapaksa”.

Gampaha Former Deputy Mayor Gamini Senarath and Patha Hewaheta PS member D M Dipal and A S Gunatilake were also present.
