Sashikala bowls Marians Ladies to victory

Former Sri Lanka captain Sashikala Siriwardena snapped up four wickets from two overs without conceding a run as Marians Ladies cruised to a rousing 123 run victory over Moratuwa Ladies CC in their SLC women's Twenty20 tournament match worked off at Colts grounds in Havelock Park yesterday.

Marians Ladies CC: 145 for 4 in 20 overs (S. de Alwis 52, N. Kumari 25 n.o, L. Madushani 21 n.o.).

Moratuwa Ladies SC: 22 in 11 overs (A. Janakanthimala 2 for 1, S. de Alwis 3 for 9, S. Siriwardena 4 for 0).

Easy for KYCC

Favourites Kurunegala YCC put up a fine all round performance to beat the SLC Combined Ladies team by eight wickets in their SLC women's Twenty20 tournament fixture worked off at the Colts grounds in Havelock Park yesterday.

SLC Combined Ladies: 69 for 7 in 20 overs (M. Weerakkody 20, S. Sandamali 2 for 14).

Kurunegala Youth CC: 70 for 2 in 12.5 overs (S. Kumaraihami 24 n.o.).

Colts in 44 run win

Two unbeaten half centuries from Sandamali Dolawatte and Udeshika Prabodhani helped Colts CC beat Lanka Women's CC by 44 runs in their SLC women's Twenty20 tournament match worked off at the BRC grounds in Havelock Park yesterday.

Colts CC: 136 for 3 in 20 overs (S. Dolawatte 54 n.o, D. Prabodhani 53 n.o, S. Lakshika 2 for 17).

Lanka Women's CC: 92 in 19 overs (R. Mosses 23, S. Lakshika 30, S. Weerakkody 2 for 16, S. Perera 2 for 4).

Ravikumar takes 4/21

Left arm bowler Sherina Ravikumar captured four wickets for 21 as Parlink CC edged out Southern Ladies CC by 13 runs in their SLC women's Twenty20 tournament mach played at the BRC grounds in Havelock Park yesterday.

Parlink CC: 90 in 17 overs (S. Fernando 26, C. Gunaratne 2 for 19, R. Dumithi 2 for 17, I. Ranaweera 3 for 13).

Southern Ladies CC: 77 in 18 overs (C. Gunaratne 21, S. Ravikumar 4 for 21, K. de Silva 2 for 18).
