Emergency to maintain law and order - PM

Prime Minister Ratnasiri Wickramanayaka speaking during the debate on extension of the state of emergency in Parliament yesterday said that the emergency was being extended for one more month as certain elements who were still active abroad and hidden arms of the terrorists were being found by the armed forces.

It was for the politician of the people as the victory of the war against terrorism should be for peace and welfare of the public.
