Architect of paradise regained

Mother Lanka you freed from the jaws of a ruthless monster.
An achievement hitherto seemed impossible saw the light of day
with efforts of our valiant soldiers.
Hope of a better tomorrow in your Chinthana fulfilled.
Indomitable courage you displayed in the battle against terrorism.
Noble son of Sri Lanka, Nobel Prize, of the countrymen you have won.
Determination and dedication adorned your plan of success and glory.
Aspiration of a united Maathru Bhoomi under one Lion flag is
a dream come true.
Ruhunu over flows with pride of a son of your stature.
Accolades gratitude abounds for feat magnificent.
Jayawewa fills the air - a sense of true freedom celebrated sans race,
religion and language.
Armed Forces whose sacrifice supreme made the ultimate triumph a reality.
Patriotism personified in your thoughts, words and deed -
a quality worthy of emulation.
An uncrowned king on par with Parakum, Mahasen, Gamunu
would fill the pages of history.
Kindness to all malice to none the philosophy of the great teacher
you followed with sincerity.
Silencing the guns as well as the critics and cronies
an act laudable indeed.
An island paradise regained with all its pristine glory honour
and dignity is ours forever.

Back to normal

Thank you my Lord!
For showing mercy upon me:
Now every moment become
Blooming towards me...!

Once the experience made
My heart into piece ... piece
Now my feelings become,
To feel p...e..a...c...e

The presentation of my being
Come to know, that,
Atleast I'm
Worth the world!

My all wounds have
disappeared...!
Because the blessed rose
Bought every thing,
Back to normal

Love

I saw her
At a restaurant,
It was obvious
She loved life
At a sprightly age
Of eighty five, perhaps?

Her shining eyes
Watched, with joy
Those who came and went,
As she softly touched,
The shining tresses
Of the little one with her,
From time to time.

She was there
When I left,
She had time on her side -
I had to rush back
To the monotony
That earned me my daily bread!

Still, she remains,
On the pathways of my mind,
And perhaps the peace
I feel today,
Is a throw-back,
Of that all embracing love
I saw upon
A lined old face.

Let's go to the other side

These words Jesus did say;
To the apostles that day,
Preparing them for the long journey
Of life: which ends in eternity.
Let's think deep of these words now;
Aren't we too on a journey somehow
Ups and downs comes our way,
Traffic jams and what not I say
To overcome all difficulties we face
Trust and confidence in him place
In your journey to the other side each day
Avoid the impediments that come your way
No turning back, no turning back, forward go
To win the goal we need so much so
Help us Mary Mother our boat to row
To the Heavenly Kingdom: The Eternal Shore.
