Seasoned with the 30 years of experience in photography he shows a special soft corner to photo old cars. The focus on Vintage is an exhibition where the photographs of old cars were in plenty.

Bandula cut his teeth in his career having had the great opportunity to be the private photographer of the actor turned politician Vijaya Kumaratunga. 'I had the opportunity to be the private photographer of many veteran politicians in Sri Lanka including late Minister of Defence Mr, Ranjan Wijerathna" he reminisced.

'After joining the Lake House my carrier took a different style. Actually the golden era has summoned to my job with this turning point. I was appointed as the photographer for the MOTOR MAG which was issued with the Sunday Observer in 1980's. It was totally about motor vehicles. So gradually I developed my professional connections with the motor clubs. Still I have my connections with them. They helped me a lot to organize this event.' said Bandula.

'Still I'm working for the Lake house group of publication as the correspondent for Borella'., said Bandula Alahakoon delightedly.

The people who love to taste the different flavours of photography could experience a quite new difference as amidst the display of photographs Old cars were placed in anticipation of convincing the spectators an authenticity of what the photographer already did.

'I'm a free man. To do my job the most essential thing I badly need is the freedom around me. So freedom is what helped me to organize even this event. I feel I'm living in each and every photo when I see those pictures' Bandula told adding somewhat proud ness to his voice.'

'I owe a huge debt of gratitude to LOLC for patronizing the event. I should be thankful for the Vintage Car Owners Club Sri Lanka for providing me those old cars to be displayed in the exhibition' Bandula Alahakoon appreciated all and sundry for helping him to go an extra mile in his career.
