Petrol at Rs 115

The petrol price was reduced by Rs 15 with effect from midnight yesterday, stated a media release issued by the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation.

According to the Corporation Chairman Asoka Thoradeniya one litre of Lanka Petrol 90 Octane would be priced at Rs 115 while Lanka Petrol 95 Octane would be priced at Rs 133. A litre of Octane 90 and Octane 95 were earlier sold at Rs 130 and Rs 148 respectively, the release said.
