More graduate chemists

The Sri Lanka College of Chemical Sciences, which is the educational arm of the Institute of Chemistry, has produced 91 Graduate Chemists for 2009 from its Graduateship Program in Chemistry which has now produced a total of 673 Graduate Chemists from 27 batches for national development. Graduate Chemist status is equivalent to that of a Special Degree in Chemistry awarded by any recognized University and enables automatic admission as Associate Members of the Royal Society of Chemistry, UK.

Registration for the next (33rd) intake of students for the program due to be inaugurated on February 6, 2010 is open for those with three Advanced Level passes or equivalent qualifications.
