cricketer is readying to face the first ball. Also in the

Pallekelle Cricket Grounds was opened recently by the Governor of
Central Province, Tikiri Kobbekaduwa attended by Chief Minister (CP)
Sarath Ekanayake, Aravinda de Silva (former Test cricket captain) and
officials of Sri Lanka Cricket and members of the Kandy District Cricket
Association.
Spokesman from the Kandy District Cricket Association, told the Daily
News that the stadium will be used for local as well as international
matches.
