Thisara sparkles as Colts pile up 411

Former Sri Lanka youth player Thisara Perera hammered a sparkling century as Colts CC piled up a massive 411 runs in their first innings on the opening day of their SLC Premier League Cricket Tournament Tier 'A' match against Moors SC which began at Havelock Park yesterday.

Sachithra props up Tamil Union

Elegant middle order batsman Sachithra Serasinghe struck an unbeaten century to guide Tamil Union reach 286 for 7 in their first innings on the opening day of their SLC Premier League Cricket Tournament Tier 'A' match against Saracens SC which commenced at the P. Saravanamuttu Oval yesterday.

Veteran spinner Dinuk Hettiarachchi took another five wicket haul as the table leaders Chilaw Marians SC put themselves in contention for an outright victory over Baduraliya CC on the opening day of their SLC Premier League Cricket Tournament Tier 'A' match which began at Katunayake yesterday.

SSC after being dismissed for 216 runs hit back strongly to reduce their opponents Sri Lanka Army SC to 103 for 5 in their first innings on the opening day of their SLC Premier League Cricket Tournament Tier 'A' match which began at Maitland Place yesterday.
