‘Single Light’, an exhibition of photographs by Athula Ranaraja will
be held at the Alliance Francaise, Kandy November 28 to December 9. The
opening ceremony of the event will be held on November 27 at 6.30 pm.
The Chief Guest will be Diyawadana Nilame Pradeep Nilanga Dela.
Athula Ranaraja had his primary education at Galgamuwa Central
College and had his secondary education at Kingswood College, Kandy.
In 1984 he joined the National Photographic Art Society of Sri Lanka
and completed a three year Diploma and obtained the Associate Membership
of the Society (ANPAS) in 2000.
He now works as a professional photographer. Athula is also a member
of the Institute of Sri Lankan Photographers.
His first Photographic Exhibition “Blue, Green and Red” emphasizing
the natural beauty of Sri Lanka was held in 2004 at the Lionel Wendt
Colombo. ‘Single Light’ is his second solo Photographic Exhibition. |
