1 MTV’s signature show ‘Good Morning Sri Lanka’ has been part of the Sri
Lankan audience life for more than a decade. It is the truly Sri Lankan
breakfast show which heralds the day with fresh, informative and
innovative contents for viewers of every age group. It is telecast
Monday to Friday from 6.30 a.m to 8.00 a.m. live. The show also features
interviews with people from diverse platforms, people representing
upcoming events and award winners, exposing the viewer to popular
happenings of the country.
The 7 a.m. News 1st segment juxtaposed in between the show delivers
the all important news of the day before and important events for the
day ahead, enabling the viewer to be well-informed just before they step
