RCGC's comprehensive awards ceremony

Amidst a very representative gathering of the golfing fraternity,
awards were presented on Sunday evening at the Royal Colombo Golf Club,
to the winners of the North East Monsoon Golf Tournament. The NE Monsoon
competition is an annual event of the RCGC's golf calendar and is held
over two weekends with many in the fray for championship honours. The
RCGC also seized the opportunity to make yet other awards to those who
did well in the recently concluded monthly medal round golf tournament
sponsored by DMS Group, hp computers and yet another.
The captain of the RCGC, Lal Dias, made the welcome address, while
the vice captain, Ananda Jayasekera, presided over the presentation of
awards.
