Brazil, Argentina to exchange trade
Brazil: Brazil President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, and Argentina,
President Cristina Fernandez will assess strategic issues and projects
of the bilateral cooperation and they will also try to re-establish the
flow of the trade exchange.
Lula and Fernandez should follow up the high-level talks about the
need of re-establishing the flow of the bilateral trade and will also
deal with regional and international issues of mutual interest during
the fourth Presidential meeting of Brazil-Argentina Integration and
Coordination Mechanism (MICBA).
They will also revise the set in motion of MICBA's projects that
include nuclear, space and in science and technology collaboration,
energy integration and of physical infrastructure, migration issues and
the payment system in local currency, among others. According to
Brazilian Foreign Affairs, a Memorandum of Understanding on the
cooperation in the pharmacology area should be signed between the
National Health Surveillance Agency and the National Administration of
Drugs, Foods and Medical Technology during the visit of Argentinean Head
