Rocell posts outstanding second quarter growth
Royal Ceramics Lanka Plc (Rocell) reported an impressive growth for
the second quarter 2009-2010, recording a 18 percent rise with an
increase of Rs. 43 million in the group's cumulative profit after tax
compared to that of the previous year.
This exceptional performance in light of a challenging market
environment is claimed by the group have been achieved through the
implementation of several brilliant and prudent strategies that include
carefully tailored greater marketing activities; adoption of effective
sales structures, and innovative production structures leading to
greater efficiency and reduced costs of their three tile and bathware
manufacturing plants; and a significant increase in the export of
locally manufactured Rocell tile and bathware products across Europe.
Royal Ceramics Lanka Plc Managing Director Nimal Perera said, "It is
