Ramlo Ply to manufacture plywood

Ramlo Ply Industries to manufacture plywood for export under BOI. The
Board of Investment of Sri Lanka granted investment approval for Ramlo
Ply Industries to set up a project to manufacture plywood for export.
Chairman/Director General Dhammika Perera signed the agreement on behalf
of the BOI and presented the BOI Certificate of Registration to Ramlo
Ply Industries Chairman Malinda Fernando.
Ramlo Ply Industries factory is an investment of US $ 1.2 million
providing employment for 80. The manufacturing plant will be located in
the Kalutara Industrial Park.
The venture will commence commercial operations in January 2010 and
is expected to produce around 5,000 sheets per month. The company will
be exporting their products to Maldives and India. |
