Investor-friendly climate attracts investors

If the Government provides a more favourable environment for sustainable development, the private sector could help steer the country towards success.

In terms of the economy, the contribution of the private sector is immense. The engine of growth is driven more by the private sector than the Government, he said.

There is a good demand for low cost inferior products in developing countries, which is inevitable due to the lack of credit movement in those countries, said Amarapala.
