Thushara to return home

The Sri Lanka team currently touring India suffered a major blow when their fast bowler Thilan Thushara Mirando aggravated a shoulder injury during a training session in Ahemadabad.

Mirando who was not selected to play in the on going first Test match has been ruled out of the game for more than four weeks and will return back home immediately.

He will be replaced by Dilhara Fernando who was earlier named as a standby in the Test squad.

Fernando who is also named in the one day squad having recovered from an injury is expected to join the squad shortly. - CD
