SriLankan Airlines in 62-60 win

SriLankan Airlines defeated Ranawana Security Services by 62 points to 60 in a Delmege Super League ‘B’ Division Basketball match played at Otter’s Aquatic Club Basketball Courts.

SriLankan Airlines was in the lead by 26 points to 14 at half time. A Anthony and G. de Silva collected 13 points each and made valuable contributions for the winning team. S. Wanasekera obtained 11 points.

N. Sandaruwan bagged 14 points for Ranawana Security Services while D. Perera got 13 points.

Commercial Bank beat MAS Holdings Group by 67 points to 42 in a Delmege Super League ‘C’ Division game played at the same venue.

Commercial Bank was in the lead by 38 points to 10 at half time. M. Powshan was the highest scorer for the winning team with 16 points. L. Perera collected 12 points and N. Suwaris 10 points. E. Weerasinghe scored 14 points and C. Gamage obtained 10 points for MAS Holdings team.

Delmege Super League Basketball Tournament is being conducted by Mercantile Services Basketball Association and sponsored by Delmege Forsyth and Company Ltd.
