Playing games for charity

The SAARC Women's Association - Sri Lanka Chapter is organizing their Annual Charity Fundraiser on the November 15, a charity games evening at the Cinnamon Grand Colombo.

The Association strive to help the less fortunate in our country by raising money through cultural exchange. They will have the satisfaction of having helped the less fortunate and also having had fun at the same time!

In addition to the ever-popular bridge, rummy, poker and mahjong tournaments, there will be several board games like scrabble, pictionary and tombola. High Tea will be served followed by a "Grand Raffle Draw" with several attractive prizes. The SAARC country stalls will be offering you jewellery, traditional and modern garments, beauty products, shoes, linen, handicraft, Christmas decor, gift items, the best from their countries.

This year, the Association has pledged to help the orphan children among the IDPs.
