National Insurance Week:

The National Insurance Week commences today

The Sri Lanka Insurance Institute (SLII) will lead a campaign in creating insurance awareness in the country from November 11-17.

The campaign will begin with a public seminar on Rakshanayata Hetak targeting school and university students at the DHPL Auditorium, at Nawam Mawatha, Colombo 2. SLII President Deepthi Lokuarachchi said that the campaign is expected to draw public attention on the "Importance of insurance for a better living" and will target a wider section of the community whose understanding of insurance remains low.
