Police quench animals thirst

Police in Medirigiriya, in Polonnaruwa provide water to wild animals in the jungle around the historic 'Vatadage', for prevailing drought has affected local water sources. All water resources have run dry owing to the drought. An officer said they are filling the pond in the 'Vatadage' garden with water to save animals.
