the judiciary, to build a nation that upholds justice. In our
country we had experienced the rule of law for a considerable time
but during the past three decades terrorism prevented carrying out
the decisions made by Courts, President Mahinda Rajapaksa said

Government tells US:
Privileged information cannot be shared
Whatever information General Fonseka may have
acquired in the exercise of his official duties is privileged by
nature. Therefore, it cannot legally be shared with third parties
without the prior approval and consent of the Sri Lanka authorities,

Gunawardena reached Myanmar yesterday morning on a directive of
