Boralesgamuwa Town SC ‘A’ and ‘B’ teams recorded wins and qualified for the second round of Division III cricket tournament in matches played on October 31 at Oruwala Steel Corporation ground and Moratuwa Vidyalaya ground.

Noel Diyes SC: 174 all out (Vishva Manjula 50, Akila Dilshan 24, Samith Sandaruwan 16, Rajeewa Prasanna 3 for 19, Chathuranga Wickramasinghe 3 for 36, Ruwan Chamara 2 for 28, Lalanga Rajapakse 2 for 21).

Boralesgamuwa Town SC: 175/6 (Gihan Seneviratne 22, Sanjeewa Karunaratne 30, Sandun Anuruddha 27 n.o., Chathuranga Wickramasinghe 22 n.o., Nirvana Abeysekera 17, Damith Chandana 5 for 46, Vishva Manjula 1 for 43). Boralesgamuwa Town SC won by 4 wickets.

Somerset ‘B’: 173 all out (M. Akram 68, M. Safras 30, Thanuja Perera 5 for 18, Anuruddha Peiris 2 for 16, Kasun Vimukthi 1 for 28).

Boralesgamuwa Town SC ‘A’: 175 for no loss (Thanuja Perera 56 n.o., Shafraz Saldin 100 n.o.).

Boralesgamuwa Town SC won by 10 wickets.
