Land for lawyers' complex in Hulftsdorp

On the initiative of Urban Development and Sacred Area Development Minister Dinesh Gunawardena, the Urban Development Authority has provided a plot of land to the Sri Lanka Bar Association on lease to put up a 7-storey lawyers' complex for lawyers at the Hulftsdorp Courts Complex in Colombo.

The plot of land has been granted in response to a request made to Minister Gunawardena by the SLBA. Minister Gunawardena in a statement issued yesterday said that President Mahinda Rajapaksa will lay the foundation stone for the proposed lawyers' complex on November 2.
