To offer Western Union Money Transfer service:

Bartleet TransCapital joins MMBL Money Master

Bartleet TransCapital has entered into an agreement with MMBL Money Master to offer the Western Union Money Transfer service through their branches across the country.

"The partnership between MMBL Money Master and Bartleet TransCapital, will offer our clients an added service of a global, fast and reliable method to make international cash transfers with a reputed and deep-rooted financial institution such as Western Union", said Bartleet TransCapital Director/CEO Indrajith Fernando.

Listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), Western Union is a leading provider of global money transfer services.

Western Union, with its Vigo and Orlandi Valuta-branded transfer services, operate through a combined network of more than 400,000 agent locations in 200 countries and territories as of end September 2009.

MMBL Money Master, a joint venture of Aitken Spence and Mercantile Merchant Bank is the principal agent in Sri Lanka for Western Union, with a local network of over 2,000 locations spread across the island.
