India, China, Russia FMs meet :
Tripartite talks in Bangalore
The foreign ministers of India, China and Russia
met yesterday for tripartite talks in Bangalore to boost ties
between the emerging market giants, officials said. Climate change,
world trade and the global financial crisis were likely to be high
on the agenda and the three were expected to issue a joint
declaration later in the day.
Bangladesh calls for SAARC Food Bank

Maal Abdul Muhith Monday advised the South Asian Association for
Regional Cooperation (SAARC) leaders to set up the proposed SAARC
Food Bank to control rising prices and meet the ever increasing food
