'Sri Lanka's Economic Prospects and Challenges':
ICASL CEO Forum
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (ICASL) has
organized CEO Forum to be held on November 4 from 7.30 am onwards at
Hotel Galadari.
The title of this forum would be 'Sri Lanka's Economic Prospects and
Challenges; Positioning for Global Recovery in 2010 and beyond'. The
most pivotal sessions of this forum would be conducted by RAM Holdings
Malaysia Group Chief Economist Dr. Yeah Kim Leng. The focal point of
this gathering would be to discuss in depth the economic challenges that
we as a country and as a continent are confronting as a result of the
global financial slump. The ways and means in which we should counter
financial threats would be carefully articulated by the speaker who has
immense exposure in the field of finance and economy.
This forum would draw special emphasis on the financial crisis which
occurred in the late 1990s amongst ASEAN countries and how those nations
successfully repulsed its threat; the strategies one should be equipped
with to face financial irregularities while maintaining a good
relationship with investors and shareholders would be discussed.
