Nirmani Dammula of Anula Vidyalaya Nugegoda emerged champions in the
Under 18 Boys singles and Girls Singles of the Western Province Junior
Table Tennis Championship 2009, which was conduced by Nugegoda Table
Tennis Club on Saturday.
Thivanka Theekshana routed V. Rasika Manoj of Anura Central College,
Yakkala by 11-9, 11-9 while Isuri Nirmani Dammulla defeated Manesha
Perera of Visakha Vidyalaya, Colombo by 11-7 and 11-7.
Ruvini Kannangara of Musaeus College clinched double titles when she
won the Under 15 girls singles and Under 12 girls singles beating
Manesha Perera of Visakha Vidyalaya, Colombo and Chamathsara Fernando of
Girls High School, Mount Lavinia.
