Colombo Fashion Week featured in Vogue issue

Colombo Fashion Week which has shown consistent growth is also gaining in reputation as an important fashion week in South Asia.

This was confirmed when CFW was featured in Vogue’s anniversary issue, that is the current issue. Vogue, which is informally known as a fashion bible, is the most well known fashion monthly in the world with international editions in the most important fashion markets globally.

Colombo Fashion Week is most the covered event in Sri Lanka and is the most covered Sri Lankan event internationally.

The October 2009 issue picked up seven best designers at CFW 2009, along with the seasoned designers like Darshi and Fahad, there was a new crop that included Sarani and LICC jeans.

Colombo Fashion Week 2010 is scheduled for Early February 2010.
