Punchi Theatre turns seven
Namel Malini Arts Circle has planned a week's events of performances
of plays, screening of short and documentary films and an old Sinhala
Film that has not been shown since the early runs at the particular
times: B. A. W. Jayamanne's Kapati Arakshakaya. And after the end of the
festival week to continue showing old Sinhala films of the fifties and
sixties for three months with the corporation of Tissa Nagodavithana. In
addition to these they have also scheduled a seminar on 'Why we go to
theatre / why we do not go to theatre' on October 24 from 3 to 6 p.m.
