Parents of war hero get house

Seva Vanitha Unit President of the Defence Ministry Ayoma Rajapaksa handed over the keys of a Ranawiru house constructed by the Fourth Engineering Regiment of the Army at a cost of Rs. 960,000 to the parents of war hero Lieutenant M.G.P.L. Wickramasinghe who was killed in action at Welioya operations in 2008.

It was built under a program initiated by the concept of Defence Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksa to find solutions to problems faced by war heroes of the police and Armed Forces at district level.

This ceremony was held at Oruthota in Gampaha last Friday.
