Third SAARC Business Leaders Conclave
A unique opportunity to explore business in South
Asian region:
The Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Sri Lanka (FCCISL)
with the SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) is organizing the
third SBLC “Regional Cooperation: a catalyst for Socio-economic Growth
in South Asia” from November 22-23, at Colombo Hilton.
The SBLC is the most prestigious event of SAARC Chamber of Commerce
and Industry, which is addressed by leaders of the host country, leading
politicians, prominent speakers, scholars and elite corporate leaders
from the region and the world.
The first and the second SBLC were hosted by the Federation of Indian
Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and the first was inaugurated
by the Prime Minister of India, Dr. Manmohan Singh. The third SBLC will
be inaugurated by Prime Minister Ratnasiri Wickramanayaka.
The previous two conclaves provided the right platform for a broader
and intense engagement between member Governments and the South Asian
business community. It emphasized deeper public-private partnerships for
created dynamic complementarities to address the common challenges.
The South Asian business community found the forum an opportunity for
striking new partnerships, exploring virgin business opportunities and
sharing best practices across many business entities thereby forging
closer economic cooperation in the region.
For inciting the attention of Global players towards South Asia,
other Heads of States/Governments of the SAARC Region have been invited
to address the inaugural session of the Conclave.
More than 500 delegates are expected to join the Conclave from region
and the globe. The event thus provides a unique opportunity for the
promotion of all such enterprises, which will be associating SAARC CCI
as core sponsors. |
