Geneva hosts ITU Youth Forum

Switzerland: Some 300 young people of university age from 150 countries will attend the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) Youth Forum, a key element of the ITU TELECOM WORLD event from 4-9 October.

During the course of the ITU TELECOM WORLD event, Youth Forum participants will follow a packed programme of discussion and debate, with opportunities to interact and develop mentor relationships with senior members of the ICT sector - government officials, industry executives, technology leaders, content providers and strategists.

Participants will draft and present a Declaration and Action Plan conveying their global vision for expanding the benefits of ICT.
