TV Derana to produce Vassana Sihinaya - a teledrama based on Upul
Shantha Sannasgala ever popular novel Vassana Sihinaya. The novel
considered to be one of the most read love stories and has been
reprinted as many as 14 times over the past two decades.
Two brand new young artists play the roles of the two love birds,
namely Madhava Wijesinghe (Kasun) and Dinakshi Priyasad (Chapa). Along
with these two are a host of popular artists who will be playing
significant roles in the teledrama, including Kusum Renu, Daya Alwis, W.
Wijesiri, Gayan Wickramaratne, Somasiri Alakolanga, Avanthi Aponsu,
Ruwanthi Mangala and Gihan Fernando, to name a few. Vassana Sihinaya
will hit the small screen very soon. The teledrama is be directed by
Jana Siriwardena. The Muhurath of teledrama took place recently at
Fingara.
