‘Siyatha TV’ launched in style

A new television station has broken into the entertainment and
educational arena. ‘Siyatha TV’ which boasts of a variety of programs
ranging from entertainment programs to events conducted to upgrade the
knowledge of the viewers was officially launched at the Hilton recently.
The new television station falls under Voice of Asia Network which is
lead by Roshantha Kariyapperuma, Sangeetha Weeraratne and Priyantha
Kariyapperuma. The group launched their radio channel ‘Siyatha FM’ in
2006 with the motto of teaching their listeners to preserve their
country’s cultural values.
As the channel gained more and more recognition as each day passed,
the team turned towards expanding their horizons by launching the
English radio channel ‘Real Radio’ in 2007 followed up with the Tamil
radio channel ‘Vettri FM’ and the ‘Siyatha’ newspaper.
Keeping up with their trend of bringing new products before the
public, the team launched ‘Siyatha TV’ and “Vettri TV’ in 2009 amidst
many distinguished guests in the field. |
