All-time record tea prices

Oodoowerre Estate in the Badulla district managed by Hapugastenne Plantations PLC established all-time record prices for Uva High Grown BOP1 and FBOP Grades at the Colombo Tea Auctions on Wednesday. BOP1 fetched Rs. 560 per kilogramme while FBOP fetched Rs. 540 per kilogramme. These teas were purchased by J-Cey Tea (Pvt) Ltd and were sold by Eastern Brokers Limited.
