MBSL awareness program

Merchant Bank of Sri Lanka PLC (MBSL) conducted a series of awareness programs on topics relevant to corporate leaders and senior executives to improve conceptual thinking and sharing knowledge among the corporate sectors.

MBSL is organising an awareness program on a more appropriate topic in the current economic situation of the country "Sharing experiences on rehabilitation of sick businesses" which will be held at Galle Face Hotel on September 29, from 4.00 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.

Turbulent economic times are making many organizations consider restructuring to improve profitability and growth. A restructuring process gives a fresh look at the business drivers while expanding certain parts of the business and contraction of other sections of the business. However, restructuring a business should add value to your organization, else, if the redesign is rejected, it could lead to a drop which is below the current level.

The keynote address will be delivered by Merchant Bank of Sri Lanka PLC Chairman Janaka Ratnayake while the main speaker to this event is Merchant Bank of Sri Lanka PLC Chief Executive Officer Gamini Karunathilake.

Both speakers shall share the recent Sri Lankan experiences on how rehabilitation of sick businesses were effectively implemented by Merchant Bank of Sri Lanka PLC during a period of 10 to 15 years.
