Joes take on Trinitians in final

The unbeaten St. Joseph's College team will take on Trinity College Kandy in the inter school under 17 division one cricket tournament final at the CCC ground in Maitland Crescent today.

St. Joseph's College led by fast bowler Dinal Dhambarage had the better of St. Benedict's College by five wickets in the semifinals and overcame S. Thomas' College Mount Lavinia by 68 runs in the quarterfinals.

In contrast Trinity College suffered two defeats in the preliminary round on their way to the final. They beat St. Anthony's College Wattala in the quarterfinals and outplayed D. S. Senanayake College by six wickets in the semifinals.
