NDB Bank launches Tamil, Sinhala websites

NDB Bank recently launched its Sinhala and Tamil websites, offering tri-lingual information catering to the Bank’s diverse customer base.

Now Sri Lankans who are well-versed in Sinhala and Tamil have the opportunity to explore NDB Bank’s products and services online with more convenience.

NDB Bank hopes that this will further facilitate communication and transactions with its customers fluent in Sri Lanka’s native tongues. In addition, NDB Bank’s Personal Internet Banking Service provides its customers free access to several financial banking facilities that can be accessed from any location, offering convenience at all times to its customers.

NDB Bank’s Retail Banking Vice President Indrajit Wickremasinghe said, “It was our decision to simultaneously launch NDB Bank’s Sinhala and Tamil websites so that the majority of our customer base can easily explore the range of products and services featured on the website. “As a world-class Sri Lankan Bank, we consider it our priority to provide equal opportunities and facilities for all citizens of this country,” he said.

With the recent launch of its Sinhala and Tamil websites, NDB Bank is one of the first banks in Sri Lanka to offer a tri-lingual website to its customers. The websites carry comprehensive information with regard to the banks products, services, corporate information as well as exchange rates.

Today, NDB Bank is one of the fastest growing retail-banks in the country with NDB Group having regional operations in the Maldives and Bangladesh. The Bank offers a wide range of commercial banking services through its growing islandwide branch network; which is set to grow in the Northern and the Eastern provinces in the months to come.
