Lord Chancellor, Jack Straw, and Parliamentary Under Secretary of State
in the Ministry of Justice Bridget Prentice, during a short visit to the
United Kingdom. Before assuming his present position, Jack Straw has

Lanka as well as future plans for the Justice Ministry.
He also discussed the possibility of establishing close links with
the British Ministry of Justice and exchanging of criminal justice
experiences and expertise in the various spheres of law reform, access
to justice, and rehabilitation, given the shared values and historical
